Mushroom compost (50L Bag)

Compost derived from mushroom farms in the process of growing mushrooms. Has a strong odour, but breaks down quickly to provide soil nutrition fast. Great when mixed in with regular soil in garden beds and veggie gardens.
- Adds organic matter to existing soil
- Acts as a soil conditioner (NOTE: check soil pH first, as this product is alkaline and can raise the pH of already alkaline soil)
- Promotes aeration
- High water retention (may not be suitable for all trees or oriental plants)
- To use: Generally, mix with existing or other soil at a ratio of 25%
Please note: products which contain compost may have some contaminates. Compost is recycled mainly from green bin waste and every measure is taken to ensure the product is contaminate free. The product conforms to the “Resource Recovery Order under Part 9, clause 93 of the Protection of the Environment Operations (Waste) Regulation 2014”
