Sandy top soil is a screened blend of soil and sand with some organic compost, ideal for establishing new lawns, as a turf underlay, patching damaged areas, or creating custom soil mixes. It provides a balanced, workable base that supports healthy plant growth.
- Composition: Mixture of soil and sand with some organic compost, finely screened
- Uses:
- Growing new lawns and turf
- Underlay for turf
- Patching damaged areas and topdressing worn lawns
- Mix with organic compost for garden soil
- Combine with other products to create custom soil mixes
- Placement guidelines:
- New lawns/turf: minimum 100mm thickness
- Patching damaged areas: approx. 25mm
- Application: Can be lightly rolled or tamped for new lawns and turf areas
Please note: products which contain compost may have some contaminates. Compost is recycled mainly from green bin waste and every measure is taken to ensure the product is contaminate free. The product conforms to the “Resource Recovery Order under Part 9, clause 93 of the Protection of the Environment Operations (Waste) Regulation 2014”
