How we recycle green waste
For decades, we’ve been taking in Canberra’s green waste and turning it into something useful. Every branch, leaf, and lawn clipping that comes through our gates is recycled. Nothing is wasted, and what comes in from local gardens goes back to local gardens.
From this process, we also produce 3 key products:
These are then sold back into the community for use.
Our recycling efforts are so effective that nearly 100% of the green waste we receive is processed and returned as quality material to support gardens, landscapes, and projects across Canberra.
